Brittany Ferries new Armorique set to enter service

Western channel French ferry operator Brittany Ferries’ new passenger ferry Armorique is set to enter service this month on the company’s Plymouth (UK)-Roscoff (France) run, a route for which the vessel has been specifically designed for.

The highly fuel-efficient ferry can carry 1,500 passengers and more than 500 cars. Built by Finland’s STX Europe, Armorique utilises the same hull design as freight-only fleet mate Cotentin, which entered service last year.
