Haiti — The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Tampa repatriated 45 Haitian migrants to Port-au-Prince, Haiti on Wednesday (4/1). The migrants were discovered Monday drifting aboard a 33-foot cuddy-cabin vessel about 70-miles southeast of the Turks and Caicos.
According to the Coast Guard, since the beginning of fiscal year 2009 Coast Guard crews have interdicted 1,304 Haitian migrants.
