British and French Nuclear Submarine Collision

It has just come to the world's attention that on February 3 or 4 a British nuclear submarine and a French nuclear submarine collided with each other while submerged in the Atlantic Ocean. The British Ministry of Defense has confirmed the incident, which involved the HMS Vanguard and Le Triomphant. According to reports both vessels sustained damage, but the nuclear reactors and warheads, as well as the crews are safe and sound. The damage to the HMS Vanguardwas bad enough that it had to be towed back to its homeport of Faslane, Scotland.
