Equatorial Guinea: Gunmen Attack Presidential Palace in Equatorial Guinea

Criminals are being blamed for an attack on the presidential palace in Equatorial Guinea's capital of Malabo. It's being reported that the unidentified group of gunmen arrived by sea in several high-powered speedboats - the types used by Niger Delta rebels and pirates. However, Reuters reports that the main militant group in the region, the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND), has denied involvement.
