Princess Cruises’ Caribbean Princess has recently completed a three week refit at the Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport. The 2004-built vessel now features a piazza-style atrium, with the International Café and Vines, a wine, seafood and cheese bar, the adults-only Sanctuary, seven new suites, a more centrally located casino and the Crown Grill restaurant.
A similar package of work will be undertaken on fleet mate Golden Princess in May, when she drydocks at Victoria Shipyards, British Columbia.
In both of the above refits, Northern Ireland’s outfitting specialists Mivan Marine were/will be heavily involved.
