GAP’s Expedition to open Portsmouth 2009 cruise season

Canadian operator GAP Adventures’ newest ship, the 120 passenger Expedition, will open the 2009 cruise season for the south coast UK port of Portsmouth, when she calls on 1 May. The vessel will be on a 13-day ‘Britain & Ireland in Bloom’ cruise.

Expedition, bought to replace the ill-fated Explorer, which sank in Antarctica at the end of 2007, is currently being converted from a Baltic ferry in Finland for her new role.  Sphere: Related Content
