India: Hijack Scare Leads to Emergency Landing

A 42-year old Indian accountant was arrested Sunday night for allegedly threatening to blow-up or hijack the Indigo airplane he was on. Two other passengers were arrested but have since been released. Following the threat, the pilot made an emergency landing in New Delhi where the situation ended safely for everyone involved. It does not appear as though the man had the means to carry through with his threats. And the whole incident may have happened because of an argument over seating that got seriously out of hand.
