Former Sea Containers fast ferries now in the Greek islands

Three former Sea Containers fast ferries are now being used by Greece’s Aegean Speed Lines on inter-island services to Ios, Santorini and Sikinos, and Syros, Tinos and Mykonos and Piraeus, Serifos, Sifnos, Milos, Kimlos and Folegandros.

Speedrunner II, Speedrunner III and Speedrunner IV are the former SuperSeaCat One, SuperSeaCat Three and SuperSeaCat Four that used to run between Helsinki and Tallinn in the Baltic, until the service closed in the autumn of 2008. All three vessels are Fincantieri MDV 1200 monohulls, capable of carrying 720 passengers and 150 cars at a service speed of 38 knots.   Sphere: Related Content
