Work on building Oceania Cruises’ 66,000grt Marina at Fincantieri’s Sestri Ponente shipyard is on schedule with the luxury vessel set for delivery towards the end of 2010.
Construction work on a sistership has yet to start at the Italian shipyard, but is scheduled to begin once Marina has left the building dock. The contract for a third vessel has been cancelled due to global economic recession.
